You’ve dabbled with AI, but between clients, admin and everything else, it hasn’t turned into real help. This programme sets your assistant up on your own files, apps and routines, with the hands-on practice to make sure it fits the work you actually do.
You’ve given AI a go. These are the usual reasons it still hasn’t become part of how you work.
You ask a question, get an answer, and that’s where it ends. Handy now and then, but nowhere near the help you were promised.
Each new chat starts from zero. You retype your business, your tone and your preferences before it can do anything useful.
Your files, inbox and calendar live somewhere else, so you spend more time feeding it information than it ever saves you.
Every task waits for you to open the app and type. Nothing gets done in the background while you get on with your day.
The real gains come when your assistant can reach your files and apps, remembers how you like things done, and handles repeat jobs on a schedule. That’s what these two months set up.
From Week 2, each session opens with a quick “what happened this week” round, so you bring back real wins and real problems to work through.
Move beyond the chat box. Set up the desktop app, decide what your AI assistant can and can’t touch, tell it who you are and how you work, then point it at a folder of your real files for its first proper job.
You leave with: an AI assistant working on your actual files, with boundaries you chose.
Connect your calendar, email and documents so it works with live information instead of copy and paste. Use projects to keep context for ongoing work, talk through a messy problem out loud, and turn your own material into a real document, slide deck or spreadsheet.
You leave with: your key apps connected and something real you made with it.
Stop re-explaining yourself every time. Build a skill: a reusable set of instructions for a job you do the same way every week, like turning meeting notes into an action list or writing your weekly update. Then test it, break it and fix it.
You leave with: your first working skill. Skills follow an open standard, so it works in both ChatGPT and Claude.
Set up scheduled tasks so your AI assistant does a job automatically, like a morning briefing ready before you start work. See what it can and can’t do when it uses a browser or your other apps. Then write a one-page guide to your own AI system.
You leave with: at least one task running on its own, and a clear plan for what to build next.
Training only sticks when you use it on your real work. So instead of leaving you on your own after Week 4, you get a free month in the AI Learning Pod.
Two online intakes. Month 1 sessions run on Wednesdays from 10am until midday (NZ time), then your Pod membership begins. Go with whichever start date suits you.
Four Wednesdays, then a month in the Pods
Four Wednesdays, a summer break, then a month in the Pods
For people who’ve already tried AI and now want it doing real work in their business, not another introduction.
Jam Mayer
AI consultant & educator
Jam has spent twenty years in digital strategy and now works as an AI consultant and educator. She helps business owners and teams put AI to practical use, from automating routine work to designing smarter ways of working. She practises what she teaches, too, building multi-agent workflows, vibe-coded apps and automation systems for her clients. In every session she adapts to how each person learns best.
A few words from past learners about Jam’s classes and courses.
“Really enjoyed some AI learning with Jam. My understanding of AI was very limited & Jam was patient & worked at a pace suitable to my needs giving plenty of time to the projects I was most interested in. 100% recommend this.”
“Really interesting course, perfect for people wanting practical AI basics. Jam is a very good teacher and the course was fun. Great workbook, practical exercises and lots of ideas. Thanks!”
“Really enjoyed attending a 5 night course on AI Imagery & Video Editing, run by the talented Jam Mayer. Highly recommend.”
One price covers both months. Prices are in NZD and don’t include GST.
Places are limited for each intake.
Win back even a little time each week and the programme soon pays for itself. Better still, a properly set-up assistant keeps saving you time long after the last session.
Routine tasks quietly eat into every working day. A connected, well-trained AI assistant can take many of them off your hands. Here’s how that adds up.
Once your assistant can open your files and folders, it stops just answering questions and starts completing work: drafting, sorting, summarising and building from your own material.
With your calendar, email and documents connected, it works from what’s really happening in your business, so you spend far less time feeding it.
Teach it a job once and reuse it every week. Put it on a schedule and the work is done before you sit down.
Your free month in the AI Learning Pod means real help while you put it all to use, so your setup keeps improving instead of fading.
Picture your briefing waiting when you sit down, the weekly update already drafted and your meeting notes turned into actions, without you asking. That’s an assistant set up to handle real work.
